Besides the awesome coloring, the background gives off a sort of nostalgic, yet far off and mysterious feeling...I love it!

I'm surprised this doesn't have as many views or favorites. This is one of the best if not the best electric Pokemon drawings on deviantart. It worthy enough to be compared to some of the top rated deviant's on this site. It is really that impressive.

You're so kind :)

Her name is Rayne XD. Yes, I read the first chapter of your story, and I'll read it all once I have some free time... I'm currently doing a lot of pokemon pictures, in order to sell some in the next comic convention here, on april.

Take care and thanks a lot!

<3 Love this! As for the cityscape, a good bet would be making layers of building blocky shapes, three layers. The far one would be a pale blue or purple color almost the same color as the sky. The second layer would be the middle, closer and a small amount more detail and a darker color then the far one. The last layer should have some small details, maybe a few windows with lights on and such. What you have here is great already, the only thing I would say to add would be a farther layer. You can easily do that by selecting the landscape you now have, making it a new layer, select the shape you have, flip it horizontally and making it about 30-40% transparency.

Ahhhh that was too much comment, I am sorry D: I get into environments too much X3 Hope it helps a little! I really love this picture!

Awsome use of the lightning altough I would of liked to see more raindrops like as it was a heavy storm.

yeah, it'd be a lot more dramatic that way... though I intended it to be a storm about to begin :3

Thanks!

I like it!

The landscape reminds me of a destroyed city. I don't know whether it's supposed to or not, so if it's not, you could take it as a point of critique =p

Thanks! About the destroyed city... it could be or it couldn't... the thing is I was trying to draw a cityscape close enough to have detailed building silohuettes, but far enough to say it was ... far XD

But anyway, the focus point of the picture is Manectric, and the city was more of an experiment.

gracias!

XD

Ugh i wish i could draw backgrounds like this! Well you were definately successful in drawing the "faraway urban landscapes" o.o Only thing is if you want to get more detaily or maybe add some "lights" to tell building windows or something ^^; D8 This is lovely, it feels like theres about to be a bigger storm happening after the little bit of rain we can see dripping off of Manectric. :D Great job!

oH thanks for the tip : ) another friend said about using caligraphy brushes, as they are square :)
;o; yeah... you know, I feel like I made up some story in the picture and it can provoque feelings on the people who look at it, the cold and humidity... idk, I like this picture a lot.

:iconexcitedplz: I'm gonna draw some eevees now XD
